Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

(LPCC)

I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling and Art Therapy from Southwestern College in Santa Fe in 2012. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in New Mexico, I meet the state’s ongoing standards for professional development and ethical practice, ensuring I continue to grow in my field and provide the best care for my clients. I consider myself a lifelong student and lover of learning, continually seeking out trainings and experiences that enhance my ability to support the people I work with.

Nutritional Psychology

I also hold a certificate in Mental Health and Integrative Medicine (CMHIMP), and I’m currently working toward a Nutritional Psychology Certificate to further support the mind-body connection. These trainings allow me to integrate the role of nutrition and overall lifestyle into the work we do together, offering a more holistic approach to mental health.

Yoga

I am a certified 200-hour yoga teacher with additional training in trauma-informed yoga. Through my own journey, I have experienced how yoga can be a powerful tool for healing and growth. When it feels supportive, I may integrate practices such as mindfulness, body awareness, breathwork and somatic practices to help you reconnect with yourself and build resilience.

The Body Positive

I have also completed trainings with The Body Positive, an organization dedicated to helping people listen to their bodies, learn, and thrive. Their work focuses on addressing the harmful effects of negative body image, including eating disorders, depression, anxiety, self-harm, substance use, and relationship challenges. These trainings inform how I support clients in reconnecting with their bodies and cultivating a healthier relationship with themselves.
